- See that all necessary and prescribed documents are submitted to the City of Johannesburg
- All deposits held by the Council, must be placed to the credit of the sellers account.
- Stop the billing of Assessment rates, water, sewer, electricity and refuse as at the date of registration of transfer.
- Close the Seller’s account as at the date of transfer.
- See that the refund is correctly calculated.
- Ensure that the refund is paid to the Seller’s attorney’s trust account.

If you were billed on a too high value, and the Valuation Appeal Board reduced your value and, because you paid your account on the too high value, a credit may be due to you, Refunds Man will assist you to collect the refund.
